The newly developed thermoswitches with changeover contact also operate on the basis of the bimetallic snap washer principle. The switching contact system of this thermoswitch series operates according to the "changeover – implementation" mode of action. A typical application for use of these thermostats is, e.g. temperature-dependent speed changeover of fan motors in fan-forced ovens. The changeover contact is located in a ceramic enclosure and is designed for use in a switching temperature range up to max. 200°C. The connection and fastenings correspond to those of the standard ceramic switch range of EAW Relaistechnik GmbH.
