The BOXER® RD is a manually operated backwash filter. The ergonomically shaped one-hand turning handle as well as the special backwash valve facilitate the release of the backwash even in case of high water pressure. Furthermore, the valve is designed in a way that it closes automatically.
The filter is cleaned by rinsing the filter element. The stainless steel filter fabric has a filter fineness of 100 µm (according to DIN EN 13443-1, 19628). The filter cylinder is made of transparent blue, high-strength plastics and can be screwed on and off manually. Therefore, the replacement of the filter element is very easy and can be done without any tools. Furthermore, the filter cylinder is resistant against standard household cleaning agents.
The BOXER® RD can easily be connected to the drain pipe by means of a splash water safe drain connection (according to DIN EN 1717). A rotatable connection flange is also included in the scope of delivery.
Compared to the BOXER® R, the BOXER® RD features a pressure reducer (tested for noise insulation acc. to protection group 1) which is adjustable from 1 to 6 bar. By means of the integrated pressure gauge, the current water pressure can be read and checked at any time. An insertion piece with integrated non-return valve is available as accessory, so that the filter may also be used as a residential water station.
The modular design of the filter allows for its quick conversion into a fine filter BOXER® KD or an automatic filter BOXER® AD.
